Gerard Keena Appointed as Receiver Over Nuisance Properties in Oakland
On December 9, 2020 the Alameda County Superior Court approved the Oakland City Attorney’s Ex-Parte Petition to appoint Gerard Keena as Receiver over two nuisance properties, which had just been the subject of arson. BARG Attorney Ryan Griffith submitted an Amicus Brief in support of another Health and Safety Receiver in the Case of County of Sonoma v. U.S. Bank . California’s First District Court of Appeals cited the Amicus Brief and Certified the Opinion for Publication.
